We are thrilled to share photos and reviews from our happy AbleSwim customers 🩵
Jack, 12
Jack has Cerebral Palsy and is our first ever AbleSwim customer 🩵
Jack's Mum messaged "He LOVES it. You can see on his face the independence he's feeling. You have changed our lives and we can't thank you enough. Jack has never been on his tummy before, so that is a massive milestone for him trying to swim on front, he's never been able to do it xx".
What a legend ✨
Doris, 6
Absolute perfection 🩵
"The moment she slips into warm water, her whole body relaxes, the weight, the pain, the spasms all disappear and suddenly she's light, free and able to move.
Her Make-A-Wish hot tub has been incredible for her, but she had grown out of her baby neck float. Now she has her AbleSwim, the best part is knowing she's safe, supported, happy and able to be free to move in the water again ❤️".
Such beautiful words from Alex about her daughter. Water therapy really is magic ✨
Lauren
Lauren has PURA syndrome which causes significant physical and learning disabilities.
"Lauren relaxes in her hot tub and loves the weightlessness and with the AbleSwim ring, we are able to let go more to allow as much independence as possible but within close reach. She otherwise requires her wheelchair with lateral supports and can only just weight bear, so this is so important for her. Without the AbleSwim ring, we used to have problems keeping Lauren’s chin & mouth out of the water despite being very careful. Thank you so much x" ✨
Oscar, 12
"We have tried so many different aids over the last 10 years that would support Oscar successfully and safely in the water. This has never been achievable until now. The swim ring gives Oscar independence that cannot be replicated elsewhere. He has freedom of movement across his whole body. This is an absolute game changer. Oscar has Cerebral Palsy and looks forward to swimming every week and it brings him nothing but joy. This also allows a stress-free swim for parents too!"
Leia, 14
Leia has a rare chromosome disorder called Pallister-Killiam Syndrome.
Leia's Mum said, "We took Leia swimming today with her AbleSwim ring and it was great success! She really enjoyed it and was very chilled in the water. Leia is usually very hyper (and trying to fight against whoever is holding on to her in the water!) but she was so relaxed. She enjoyed the freedom. Honestly, thank you so much. I've dreamed of this day".
Beyond thrilled with this feedback - it really is a game changer product 🩵
Ellie, 16
Ellie's Mum messaged from Orlando to say "We're so glad we were able to purchase the AbleSwim ring just in time for our holiday. Our daughter absolutely loves it - it has made such a difference in the water giving her both safety and freedom to enjoy herself. It's been a game changer for our family and already brought so many smiles. High recommend 🌟".
Love this, thank you for taking the time to message from Orlando, USA! 🩵
Eve
"It was fantastic to see Eve back in the hydro pool, this time with her new AbleSwim neck ring. This enabled Eve to float without worrying about going under the water. It also helped Eve's support worker to encourage her to relax and enjoy herself knowing that she was floating safely. Thank you so much 💓".
This is such a precious photo and truly captures the delight on Eve's face 🩵. Photo taken at Brickhouse Cottages.
Ethan, 18
"We've previously trialled many restrictive floats with Ethan in the hot tub but they really restrict his movement. With the AbleSwim ring, he has so much freedom and absolutely loves it.
Ethan has Cerebral Palsy and can neither walk or talk. He also experiences spasticity in his body and has scoliosis. It was amazing to see him so loose and relaxed in the water, even trying to stand and do his own stretches.
This really is a game changer for us. Being a single mum, it makes it so much easier for me to handle Ethan in the water and it is a much more enjoyable experience for us both." - Christine
How incredibly positive - absolutely love this 🩵
Archie, 13
"Archie is 13 with quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy, he's registered blind and has epilepsy. He's also a really wild child and loves adventures and being active.
The AbleSwim ring means that he can swim away from me and have freedom to choose where he goes. This is something that he can't do outside of water, he has outgrown the walker that worked for him. He laughed so much as I chased him around the pool, he's so fast!" - Vicky
We reckon Archie would love a lazy river! 🩵
Tommy, 7
Tommy and his sister enjoying their hot tub together 🩵
Tommy has quad Cerebral Palsy and his Mum, Marie said "we are thrilled to finally be able to float freely again. Thank you so, so much for bring these to us, forever grateful!"
High praise indeed, thank you both ✨
Edward, 7
Lovely words from Heather, Edward's mum.
"The freedom is amazing, it been so lovely to let Edward go and watch him explore and move freely. His sister loved being able to swim alongside him too! Edward has Polymicrogyria which causes of range of issues including Cerebral Palsy. He has poor core strength and low tone so before the swim ring, we had to hold him in at least 2 places and it ws getting really difficult with his weight and size, so this has been a huge help for us! xx" - Heather
Edward looking very chilled 🩵
Asher, 13
"We used the AbleSwim ring on our recent holiday in Gran Canaria. The swim ring allows our young man to have freedom in the pool whilst giving him a sneaky stretch.
Knowing he was safe to be independent gave us reassurance to relax whilst all having fun in the pool.
Thank you AbleSwim for your fast delivery and incredible money saving offer." - Sarah
Dude chilling in his glasses 😎
Eli, Montana 🇺🇸
"My son Eli is 15 and has a rare genetic condition that affects all aspects of his life. He is unable to walk and needs 24/7 assistance.
Eli's most favorite thing is the water and we always struggled with finding something that is safe for him, but most importantly, giving some independence so he can enjoy with us as his family.
We love using the swim ring for PT, as it is so great for his spine and allows him to participate in different activities while being safe." - Jamie
Alistair, California 🇺🇸
"So grateful that you've taken on this endeavour for all our children.
Alistair has been having a great time swimming in our pool." - Chloe
Check out this cheeky chap! Note that Alistair wearing black grip boots in the water so he can push himself around - genius!
Ella
"Ella hated hydro and now look at her!
The AbleSwim ring has changed Ella's whole experience of her hydrotherapy sessions. She really didn't enjoy being in ay kind of pool but now she just relaxes and there is no panic, it's lovely to see her so calm and relaxed. It is so less stressful for myself and her care staff too" - Sally (mother)
